Payments and Refunds
Payments for the entire session must be made in full when registering for class. No refunds can be made. If classes are missed, one can make them up by attending another group class during the current session if there is another group class of the same level that does not have reached its full capacity of 10 students.
No credit will be given. Although private classes are more flexible, any cancellation must be made at least 48 hours in advance otherwise the fee corresponding to the scheduled class will be charged.
When do you offer classes?
We offer classes Monday through Sunday.
-Monday through Thursday we offer group classes in the morning, afternoon and evening.
-Saturday we offer group classes in the morning.
Private, semi private classes and tutoring classes can be scheduled Monday through Sunday.
How much does it cost to study French?
Adult Grammar Courses:
-Early bird special: $245.00.
-Regular price: $265.00.
5-12 students.
Student for a ten week session consisting of a weekly 60 minute class plus material.
Material consists of a student workbook, a textbook and handouts.
Bilingual Kids Classes:
-Early bird special: $355.00 plus material.
-Regular price: $375.00.
Note:
A minimum of 5 students is required to constitute a class. Classes that do not have a sufficient enrollment are subject to a change of price/hour may be postponed and rarely canceled.
Private and Semi Private Classes:
-Private at $65/hour, semi-private at $35/hour for the class taking place in Pasadena.
-Private at $85/hour, semi-private at $45/hour for the class taking place outside of Pasadena.
Private class consists of 1 student. Semi-private class consists of 2 students.
How many levels of French are you offering?
If you have never been a student of our school, or if you are a returning student who has not attended French classes for a while, please contact us before enrolling: we will determine together which class will suit you the best.
Our teen and adult program offers 3 levels of French grammar:
-Level 1: Beginner French
-Level 2: Intermediate French
-Level 3: Advanced French
Our teen and adult program offers 4 levels of Conversational French:
-Level 1: Beginner
-Level 2: Advanced Beginner
-Level 3: Intermediate
-Level 4: Advanced Conversation
Each level has 8 sub-levels; for example Level 1 consists of 101, 102, 103, 104, 105, 106, 107 and 108. To complete the level 1 you will need to have taken level 101 to 108 to move to Level 2.
Our Exploratory French Program for children offers six levels of French:
– Beginning French Level 1
– Beginning French Level 2
– Beginning French level 3
– Basic French Level 4
– Basic French Level 5
– Basic French Level 6
Our Bilingual Kid Program follows the French curriculum taught in France and offers therefore 5 levels of French:
-CP
-CE1
-CE2
-CM1
-CM2
How long is each session?
Each session is 10 week long except for our conversational classes which are 5 week long.
How many students are there per class?
We offer our adult students an ideal learning environment with a class size limited to 9 students for our conversational classes and 12 for our grammar classes.
Our kids classes are very small too with only 6 children per class.
Private and semi-private classes are also available. Private classes consists of a one in one class. Semi-private consists of two students.
Do you offer any discounts?
We offer a 5% discount to family that enroll more than one of their children at the same time. If you enroll two of your children in the Fall session, you will be offered a 5% discount on the second child tuition fees. If you enroll one of your children in the fall and his/her sibling on the winter, you will not benefit from our 5% discount.
Are the books and material included in the tuition fees?
No, the material used is not included and need to be purchased separately.
Where can I buy my books?
Books can be purchased online at our “Shop” page. There are also some books that can be bought directly onsite.
What are your cancellation policies?
We offer no refund and no credit simply because our classes are so small. Students who miss class, are emailed the class notes, a recording of the class and the homework for the following class.
